Interior Designer: Simpson & Voyle

It makes me so happy to see how all the wonderfully talented interior designers use my designs in their unique way and with such unexpected combinations. I will be profiling some of the designers who have used my products so beautifully in a series of blog posts on here to celebrate their work and to provide inspiration to customers about to embark on decorating their homes..

 First up is London based design duo Angela and Laura of Simpson & Voyle who founded their company in 2013 after meeting at a running club. With a background in fashion (Laura) and costume and set design (Angela), these inspired beginnings can be seen in their sophisticated yet dramatic interiors.

I love how they have used Seascape at Dusk wallpaper in this very civilised, masculine bedroom with flashes of orange lifting the scheme. Angela says- “The design was for a riverside apartment and obvious as it sounds, that connection to the water was really beautiful. I think we really love the simplicity of the drawing... there is an incredible clarity about them”.
