All of my rugs are certified by GoodWeave, meaning that any rug you buy from us, is made by highly skilled adult artisans. This was essential to me when I ventured into the world of rugs.

The GoodWeave label ensures that your rug didn’t involve child labour in any way during the manufacturing process. GoodWeave is dedicated to ending child labour in the rug industry, whilst also directly rescuing children from lives of servitude and providing them with rehabilitation and education.

Not only are GoodWeave raising awareness amongst consumers and importers, they also have social programs in India, where Abigail Edwards rugs are made, and Nepal and Afghanistan as well as in other carpet weaving communities around the world. Ensuring the highest standards of integrity and working conditions in the rug and carpet industry are maintained without child labour, forced labour, or bonded labour.
