Almost everyone decorates their living rooms, bedrooms and kitchen beautifully but what about the forgotten spaces, the ones that make our lives so much more efficient; for example the laundry room?

An essential space that makes life run more smoothly. But this space doesn’t have to purely practical it can be welcoming too. As demonstrated so wonderfully by Delaware based interior designer Meghan Gorelick Interiors.

A wonderful use of neglected space in this home in New Jersey is maximised with stacked washing and drying machines at the top of the stairs. The walls are papered with the calming waves of Seascape wallpaper in summer and coordinated with a beautifully upholstered storage seat in Seascape linen and piped cushions in a storage filled nook. There is absolutely no reason why laundry shouldn’t be done in a luxurious environment making mundane tasks so much more pleasant!
