My flat in The Guardian
Early on in my interiors career, I spent a lot of time styling and writing features on various designers’ homes, mostly in Scandinavia. Meeting all the homeowners and seeing how they lived was really inspiring. So it was strange but lovely to be on the other side and see my home featured in The Guardian’s Weekend Magazine last month.
It took 4 years to do up my flat. I started off trying to do some of the work myself, but soon got to the stage where it was far beyond my capabilities so asked my very good local builders to come in and take over. This went on in stages for the next few years. Check out the full Guardian feature here. Written by Rachel Leedham with photography by Alun Callender.
And if you want to see the state of my flat when I first bought it, there are some pics in this previous blog post.
