Kid's rooms to inspire

Seascape wallpaper in a Finnish bedroom.jpg

I am in awe of the beautiful children’s rooms that clients and customers produce. Here is a selection of a few of my favourites that I hope will fill you with inspiration and help you to create a bedroom that will be a nurturing space for your little one to grow, encouraging them in their unique world of wonder.

Some are by professional designers and some are little vignettes that small folk have created themselves

Above @_breezymeadows has combined beautiful handmade ply storage with a bed creating a super stylish and really practical room filled with storage for her son in her home in the Finnish countryside.

Award winning architect and interior designer Eddie Maestri has used Seascape wallpaper so beautifully in his son’s bedroom. Cutting along the waves to create a horizon line on the wall must have been as much of a labour of love as it was for me drawing the waves.

Sonny in South London learnt the alphabet on Cross Stitch wallpaper but as he got older his mum added a skeletal poster to make his room a little more edgy.

Third Coast interiors an interior design company based in Chicago and Mexico City have created a wonderfully imaginative bedroom for two little boys with a coastal theme. And lastly, Luka in Gloucestershire has a fluffy cloud like light in front of Storm Clouds wallpaper so that he feels like he floating in the sky when looking up from his bed.
