How to Make Paper Rosettes
Using left over wallpaper scraps to make beautiful decorations for your home, makes Christmas a little bit more sustainable and guarantees that your decorations will go beautifully with your décor.
You will need:
•Wallpaper offcuts
•Thin twine
•Scissors
•Glue, tape or staples
Instructions for making Paper Rosettes
First gather any wallpaper offcuts and sort out the sizes. A larger rosette will need larger paper.
-Cut your paper into 2 rectangles of equal width and length into
-Fold both strips into concertina folds
-The rosettes can be left with flat edges or if you want to make a star shape you can trim the ends into a point
-Fold each concertina in half and thread a piece of twine around the centre and tie to fasten the two halves together. Keep the twine long enough to form a hanging loop as well.
-Unfold to form the rosette shape and glue, staple or tape the edges together
-Use the lengths of the twine to form a hanging loop and hang on your tree, in front of a window, on a branch, wherever you wish.
